- Woods such as walnut, cherry, rosewood, birch and maple
- Machine turned brass cannons
- Hand sewn thick canvas sails that do not wrinkle
- Masterfully painted like the actual Berlin tall ship
- Perfectly taught rigging with varied thread color and thickness
- The ship model rests on a sturdy wood base supported by four arched metal dolphins (marble base pictured)

The frigate Berlin was one of the first charter frigates put at the disposition of Frederic William by the Brandenburg Navy. Built in Zeeland in 1674, the vessel formed part of the Brandenburg fleet until 1688.
